An accomplished cross-sector professional in cybersecurity, Alam is a Partner with Ernst & Young – United Kingdom and leads EY EMEIA Cybersecurity Consulting team.
With over 14 years of experience in cybersecurity services, he is focused on identity and access management (IAM), and has assisted clients in a number of differing facets of cybersecurity.
Seasoned in defining cybersecurity strategies, delivering cybersecurity transformation programs and leading multiyear IAM projects for a number of financial services clients, Alam is an entrepreneurial spirit. He spent four years building his own boutique consultancy, which is now a leading IAM consultancy business.
Prior to joining EY, Alam served as Partner in the Cybersecurity practice of another Big Four firm.
He earned his MSc in eCommerce and BSc in Computer Science with Software Engineering from the University of Huddersfield.
