In his current role, Sergio assists companies in their finance accounting and compliance needs, from day-to-day bookkeeping to the preparation of statutory financial statements according to the local financial reporting framework.
Sergio joined EY in 2010 and has 30 years of management consulting and outsourcing experience in various industries.
He has strong competencies in finance and accounting outsourcing, multi-functional shared services, back office transformation, working capital management, enterprise cost reduction programs, treasury management and enterprise performance management.
Sergio is a member of the Spanish Finance Professionals Association Board (AEEF). He is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences, and writes articles for specialized finance publications.
Sergio holds a MSc Quantitative Analysis and Econometrics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a MSc Management Consulting from the European School of Management (ESCP-EAP) and Advanced Business Management Program (ABMP) from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Northwestern University - Chicago).
