Purnima owns the growth agenda and the sustainability go-to-market strategy for the EY Global Consumer Products and Retail Industries team.
Drawing from her international consulting experience, she works across regions to develop new offerings and grow the EY partnership with global consumer businesses as they seek to generate sustainable growth and long-term value for consumers and all their stakeholders.
Prior to this role, Purnima has spent over 15 years in business and management consulting, advising Fortune 500 companies as they seek to improve and grow their businesses. Over her career, she has worked hand in hand with clients across many sectors, and led diverse teams across Africa, Europe and America to drive strategic and transformation projects.
Purnima started her career in France in consulting, after completing a master’s in Economics and a specialized post-master’s course in Development and Industrial Economics, at the University of Pantheon-Sorbonne.
Purnima thrives in bringing positive change to organizations and people. Working across geographies and functions, Purnima thinks strategically about the future, and aligns the right stakeholders and resources to develop a path to achieving ambitions. She is currently focused on developing new offers for EY Consumer to help consumer companies embed sustainability in their strategy and across their organization.
Having lived on several continents and in multicultural environments, Purnima believes in the power of diversity and, on a daily basis, engages with individuals of diverse backgrounds to drive better outcomes. She also coaches and mentors high-potential women and individuals with minority ethnic origins.
