As EY Americas Infrastructure Leader, Mike is responsible for bringing the full breadth of EY resources and cutting-edge capabilities to serve clients who are developing, transforming, financing, acquiring or divesting infrastructure. This includes all types of infrastructure from transportation, energy and environmental to communications, social and education, with a commitment to sustainability.
Mike is a recognized authority on the infrastructure market. He advises clients on strategy, innovation, finance, procurement, transactions and public-private partnerships for tens of billions of dollars of infrastructure.
Mike also serves as Senior Managing Director of Ernst & Young Infrastructure Advisors, LLC, an SEC-registered Municipal Advisor and an EY member firm.
He previously served as Managing Director and functioned as CEO of Jeffrey Parker & Associates (JPA), a leading US financial advisory firm that EY acquired in 2012.
Michael earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from its Wharton School of Business.
“Here in the US, we have benefited from the foresight and willingness of earlier generations to develop world-leading infrastructure. Public and private investments, many made following the Great Depression and World War II, helped achieve remarkable growth in competitiveness, mobility, safety, quality of life for many and overall economic expansion.
Yet, as we renew our infrastructure here and help other countries build anew, do we simply aspire to rebuild and recreate? Should new technologies and better, more inclusive understandings of our needs, health, environment and equity shift what we build and how we build it?
My job is to collaborate with committed and talented people in government and the private sector who are helping to realize and reimagine our critical infrastructure.”
