Erik serves as the Customer and Growth leader for EY Asia-Pacific, and has a deep background using analytic insights to develop and execute growth strategy.  

He is knowledgeable in consumer insights, revenue growth management, and driving marketing and sales productivity in the front office, and has experience using the full range of digital platforms to profitably improve the customer experience. An innovator, Erik is always looking for ways to better serve customers with new technologies. His latest passion is generative AI, whose effect on consumers – and the companies that serve them – will be profound.    

Born in NYC and a resident of Japan since 2018, Erik earned his BA in Political Science from the University of Chicago, and completed his MBA at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.

"I think the best ideas come from teams with different points of view, and from teams with the courage to talk openly about how to solve the clients’ toughest challenges. So my mission with any team is to help create an environment where ideas flourish, and to make sure that everyone has a chance to make their case (with data, of course). The process can be messy, but the solutions are more resilient. For me, diversity and inclusion aren’t buzzwords, they’re a business imperative for getting better outcomes. That’s how I’m building a better working world."
