EY at Hannover Messe 2025

The EY organization had the privilege of joining Hannover Messe 2025, connecting with peers, partners and clients to explore the future of industrial transformation. With more than 70 expert-led sessions and meaningful conversations throughout the week, it was a great opportunity to share insights and learn from others shaping the industry. 

We hosted dynamic discussions across four key areas:

• Digital transformation and the industrial metaverse – exploring how artificial intelligence (AI), immersive technology, and data are reshaping factories and operations
• Cybersecurity and resilience – supporting clients in protecting their supply chains, operational technology environments and data
• Sustainability and supply chain innovation – sharing new thinking on circular economy models, AI-enabled logistics and regulatory readiness
• AI and human-centric automation – showcasing how intelligent technology can empower workers and improve agility on the factory floor

What we heard: key takeaways from the fair

Across dozens of client meetings and sessions, five big themes stood out:

• AI is accelerating – and clients want to scale it safely. There's clear demand for trustworthy, responsible approaches to AI in industrial settings.
• The industrial metaverse is moving from buzz to business case. Use cases in training, predictive maintenance and virtual collaboration are gaining real traction.
• Cybersecurity remains a board-level priority. As operations become more connected, clients are seeking smarter, more proactive protection strategies.
• Sustainability is no longer optional. From meeting compliance with EU digital product passports to enabling circular supply chains, clients are looking for practical, scalable solutions.
