Dr. Marek Rozkrut is the leader of the EY Economic Analysis Team and Head of EY EMEIA Economists Unit. He leads macroeconomic research, specializes in economic and regulatory impact assessments, shadow economy research, payments, geospatial and consumer analytics.

With the use of advanced econometric techniques and economic modeling, Marek and the Economic Analysis Team have delivered hundreds of projects in over 50 countries for clients from various sectors.

Marek was an Assistant Professor at Warsaw School of Economics, Director of Financial Policy, Analyses and Statistics Department at the Ministry of Finance, Head of Foreign Research and Analyses Unit at the central bank, and Chairman of the Polish delegation at the OECD Economic Policy Committee.

Marek earned a master’s and PhD in economics from the Cracow University of Economics and the Warsaw School of Economics, respectively. He studied at Grand Valley State University (Michigan, USA), and Hiroshima University of Economics (Japan).

How Marek is building a better working world

Under Marek’s leadership, his team supports EY clients in qualitative assessment and quantitative measurement of interdependencies between their business activity, their customers, suppliers, competitors, regulations and the whole economy. They often succeed in working out win-win solutions, to the benefit of clients and other stakeholders, including citizens and government. This would not be possible without credibility, which is at the core of their success, and which is built through the quality, robustness and transparency of their approach.
