Gaurav is a New York-based managing director in the Treasury and Liquidity Risk Management practice of Ernst & Young LLP. He leads cross-functional teams that provide consulting services covering liquidity stress testing, intraday liquidity management, contingency planning, asset and liability management, and regulatory reporting.
Gaurav leads the firm’s thought leadership on several topics, including liquidity risk resulting from payments, clearing and settlement activities, treasury impacts from real-time payments, stress testing and real-time deposit monitoring.
Gaurav received a BA in Economics from Delhi University and earned an MBA in Finance from William & Mary’s Raymond A. Mason School of Business.
How Gaurav is building a better working world
I contribute to building a better working world by supporting the resilience of the banking and capital markets sector through enhanced risk management supported by data and technology. I focus on developing our people through technical trainings, coaching and mentorship to empower them to succeed and make a positive impact on our clients and society. Outside of work, I volunteer with a not-for-profit organization focused on developing business literacy and leadership skills for high school students from underserved and diverse backgrounds.
