Corey leads EY's People and Culture agenda for Technology Consulting, the US alliance with FIS and he is the Ecosystem Modernization Core Banking Method Champion, driving consistent and industry-leading technology transformation methodology across our teams. He has over 18 years of experience in core banking transformation, business and solution architecture, program governance, process and controls design and reengineering, vendor selection, SDLC life cycle and regulatory compliance. He leads high-performance, cross-functional teams sourcing and implementing complex operational and IT-based projects for multinational and domestic-based banks and FinTechs focusing on improved customer experience and banking operations.
Prior to consulting, Corey served as a Captain in the US Air Force, focused on cybersecurity and information assurance. He obtained his MBA in Finance and Marketing from University of Maryland and has a BA in Political Science and a BS in Mathematics from Tulane University.
How Corey is building a better working world
Corey leverages his years of sector experience in all core banking processes (retail and commercial, deposits and lending, middle- and back-office operations) and mortgage operations by being the voice between operations and technology, always focusing on enhancing the customer experience, improving operational efficiency and delivering value-added insights to the leadership teams of global financial institutions.
Additionally, he has led multiple internal and community-based initiatives focused on expanding DEI at EY and at our clients through targeted strategy development/ execution, partnerships, recruiting and training. As a member of the EY Social Justice Fund Committee, he helps the firm make impactful decisions for the benefit of marginalized communities to address the root causes of social injustice and inequities – specifically focusing on education, technology, health care, environment and economic empowerment.
