Setu co-leads Ernst & Young LLP’s Business Transformation-Capital Markets practice in the US serving both sell-side and buy-side clients across the Banking and Capital Markets sector. He brings over 20 years of progressive experience delivering results through a combination of exceptional execution skills, keen strategic mindset, strong business acumen and innovation. He has led large-scale, multi-jurisdictional business, regulatory, and technology implementation and remediation programs for leading Banking and Capital Markets clients. Setu also leads the firm’s US OTC Reform services and has significant experience leading engagements covering other global OTC Reform and related areas across implementation and remediation efforts across Dodd-Frank, Markets in Financial Instruments Directive/Regulation (MiFID/MiFIR), European Market Infrastructure Reform (EMIR), and Canadian Derivative Regulation. Setu has an MBA in Finance and a BS in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
How Setu is building a better working world
In doing his part in building a better working world, Setu is focused on the following:
- Acts as a DEI Champion, including supporting candidates for programs such as Ripples, as well as driving the EpiPhany pilot for the BT-CM team
- Drives innovative solutions at BCM clients focused on client aspirations/needs vs. EY solutions, and collaborates across EY teams to bring all of the EY ecosystem to his clients
In his role as the BT-CM competency leader, Setu drives an inclusive culture, leading high-performing teams through flexible working styles and remote working.
