Robert Shaw is a managing director in the Financial Services Organization Consulting practice at Ernst & Young LLP where he focuses on consumer lending and the US automotive, equipment and captive finance space. Over his career, he has led large transformation programs across captive and commercial lending products. He has led large-scale initiatives at leading captive, digital retailers and banking firms covering regulatory-led remediation, core modernization programs and strategy led transformation projects. He is also a thought leader in mobility.
Robert has worked with a top five automotive captive, leading business process and technology and had senior leadership roles in operations. He holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas and a BBA from Texas Tech University.

Robert has led several large-scale transformation programs from strategy to selection and implementation for automotive captive finance companies, consumer mortgage lenders and commercial banks. He has led several platform selections through implementation of consumer automotive lending platforms with the captive finance and banking environment across the top 10 automotive lenders in the North American market.
Prior to going into consulting, Robert worked in business process and technology for a top five captive lender in the US market where he was responsible for all transformation programs across originations and servicing.
