Rob is a Partner with Ernst & Young LLP in the Financial Services Office and is the Leader of the EY Registered Funds Tax practice. With over 27 years of financial services experience, Rob advises clients on the tax structuring of business development companies (BDC), open- and closed-end mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and fund of funds. His depth of experience includes matters involving complex financial instruments such as high-yield debt, contingent debt, inflation index bonds, emerging markets debt, derivative instruments, hedging strategies and foreign currency related transactions.
He helps coordinate nationwide training for the firm’s regulated investment company (RIC) practice and teaches client seminars. He is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and New Jersey, and a member of the ICI Tax Committee.
Rob holds a MS in Taxation from Fordham University in New York.
