Mike guides the organization’s thinking on delivering transformative methods for large US government clients, addressing the most challenging strategic topics facing our nation — strategy, operations and logistics, personnel, culture and organizational design. He also leads Strategy and Transformation services on many of the Department of Defense accounts, including the US Army.
Before joining the consulting world, Mike served in the Kansas House of Representatives for four years. During his time in the legislature, he was the ranking member of the Commerce, Labor and Economic Development Committee, and a member of the Energy and Utilities, Health and Human Services, and Joint Economic Development Committees.
Mike earned his MBA with a concentration in Finance at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and received the Dean’s Award of Distinction for leadership. He also has a BS in Integrated Science and Technology with a concentration in Energy and Environmental Policy from James Madison University.

Specifically, he helps his clients evolve via organization structure design, performance management, operating model design, strategic design, advanced analytics, financial reporting, procurement and supply chain, and maintenance overhauls.
