Jim is a partner in the EY Americas Professional Practice Group, focusing on driving audit quality and assurance services related to climate change. Jim previously served as EY Americas Vice Chair – Professional Practice from 2019 to 2023, overseeing the National Office activities of EY Americas Assurance.
Previously, Jim served as Assurance Managing Partner in the former EY Southeast Region.
Over the course of his career, Jim has served some of the member firm’s largest and most complex audit clients and has gained extensive experience in resolving complex accounting and auditing issues. Over the years, he built a strong track record of creating high-performing, inclusive teams and leading initiatives that have strengthened audit quality. He cares deeply for EY people and their career experience.
Jim attended the University of Southern Mississippi College of Business. He resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, Angela; and two sons, Lane and Nicholas.
