How Emily is building a better working world
"For my clients, I try to build a better working world by demystifying advanced technologies into attainable solutions. As a technologist, it can be tempting to focus on the exciting features of these emerging technologies, which can make these tools seem all the more intimidating. In my experience, the best solution is often the simplest.
Outside of my clients, I try to invest time in my EY teams and my students at SMU. Whether a meaningful engagement experience or an engaging classroom discussion, I hope to pass on the lessons that I learned through my mentors, coaches and sponsors.
Finally, I try to remember that part of a better working world is a better me. I stay active through golf, rowing and running, and I enjoy volunteering as a Wish Granter through the Make-A-Wish Foundation."
