Daniel is a senior director at EY-Parthenon, Ernst & Young LLP, where he leads the generative AI (GenAI) program for the Americas Life Sciences sector. Over the past decade, he has worked as a management consultant, guiding interdisciplinary teams across the globe in partnership with pharmaceutical companies and health care systems as they navigate disruption, transformation and innovation.

He helps organizations identify growth opportunities by mapping ecosystems, assessing markets, identifying adjacencies, tracking startups and understanding high-growth areas, with a particular focus on the potential of GenAI to drive value.

He is passionate about problem solving, using data and hypotheses to find intelligent answers to the sector’s most complicated questions.

During his PhD program at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, he studied neuronal stem cells and the role of neuronal activity in their integration with adult brain circuits.
