Dan is a partner in the Technical Accounting Advisory Group within the Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice. He leads the SEC Reporting and Corporate Governance cluster and also focuses on business combinations, segment reporting and financial statement presentation. In this role, he assists clients with SEC reporting and governance issues related to complex transactions, such as IPOs, spin-offs and reverse acquisitions. In the past five years, Dan has assisted with more than 100 IPO transactions.

Dan also served in the EY National Professional Practice – SEC Regulatory Matters Group for three years, where he assisted clients and engagement teams with complex transaction and reporting issues, SEC staff preclearance requests and comment letter responses. He was responsible for monitoring SEC developments related to its disclosure effectiveness initiative.
