Eamonn McCallion is a partner in EY’s Financial Services Tax Practice in Dublin. With over 20 years’ experience in Indirect Tax, Eamonn provides advice across all financial services sectors: banking, insurance, leasing, asset management.

Eamonn leads the Financial Services VAT practice in EY Ireland. Prior to joining EY, he spent almost 4 years in a leadership role establishing an Irish hub entity for a US multinational with a large global footprint where he was Global Head of Indirect Tax. Prior to this, Eamonn spent 17 years in another Big 4 practice specialising in VAT and gaining extensive VAT and financial services experience, particularly banking. He also served as Head of Legal for a Big 4 accounting firm’s legal practice. He is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser, a Solicitor and a New York Attorney. Eamonn holds degrees in law from University College Cork and diplomas in Corporate Law & Governance and in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland.
