Sid leads EY Canada’s technology M&A practice and helps companies across the country accelerate their organic and inorganic growth priorities and drive top-quartile outcomes for founders and employees.

For nearly 15 years, Sid has built out extensive corporate finance and M&A experience working and advising on deals across five continents. He has led more than 50 deals that have totalled billions in deal value and garnered awards around the world. Sid works on the front lines of technological disruption as an advisor and guide to mid-market companies, and entrepreneurial businesses. He has deep relationships with strategic buyers and financial investors in the technology sector.

Sid is part of EY’s global TMT corporate finance senior leadership team, collaborating on cross-border deal activity and leading strategic conversations with technology clients globally. He has authored topical thought leadership around software, tech-enabled services as well as deal activity and trends in the technology sector.

Sid has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Master’s in Business Administration.
