Like the early days of the internet, AI is evolving quickly. The important work of today is to ensure it doesn’t create an ethical blind spot for those responsible for the organization’s purpose, values and principles. Education on the risks and the rewards of AI is key.

How Shannon is building a better working world

“Heavily involved in leadership activities, whether that be taking a leadership role in EY or on a board (such as the University of Prince Edward Island) or in consulting to executive leaders and those in charge of governance, I bring a strong lens to strategic planning, inclusion, leadership and governance. I bring insights to assist leaders with culture, reconciliation and diversity. When leading or facilitating client sessions, I rely on decades of experience in various business analysis functions with Health and Government & Public Sector clients, to bring innovative solutions to very difficult situations.

I have been continuously evolving the leadership of the digital health sector and driving the innovations and transformations that move digitization forward in an inclusive and citizen-centred manner. ”
