With more than 20 years of banking and corporate finance experience, Shane is the leader of the Canadian Strategy and Transactions business and member of the Executive Committee. Shane leads a team of more than 700 globally connected, high-performing professionals that provide sector-based strategic advice on corporate growth, capital structure design and capital sourcing, transaction execution, diligence, valuation and turnaround and restructuring strategy.
Shane has been directly involved in the success of many of the firm’s most complex transactions, including one named as the Americas Private Equity Deal of the Year by the Global M&A Network.
He has completed a three-year term on the Partner Forum, EY Canada’s governance and advisory board to the CEO.
Shane is a graduate of the Gerald Schwartz School of Business at St. Francis Xavier University. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance.
