Rob is a Partner and Leader of our Oil & Gas Assurance practice for Canada. He’s based in Calgary.
For more than three decades, Rob has worked with EY public and private clients in the energy industry, including upstream oil and gas, midstream and energy service companies to meet their financial reporting needs in Canada, the US and abroad.
With deep knowledge of Canadian and US regulatory requirements as well as IFRS, Rob is a trusted advisor on accounting and finance issues such as capitalization policies, identification of cost-generating units, accounting for a variety of stock-based compensation plans, impairment of long-lived assets methodology, internal control requirements and regulatory compliance.
Rob’s skills also include guiding clients through a variety of liquidity transactions such as public share offerings, restructurings, sales and divestitures.
He is a member of the EY Global Oil & Gas Network and holds a BCom from the University of Alberta.
