Barry is a partner with EY, and President of Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance Inc. in a career spanning more than 39 years.
Barry advises clients on M&A, negotiations, deal sourcing, valuations, financing, and strategy. He leads multi-disciplinary teams of tax, legal, due diligence, and finance professionals, and has been part of the deal team on over 100 M&A transactions.
Previously, Barry was EY's Oil & Gas Leader in Canada, and managing partner for EY in Calgary, Canada.
Barry holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan. He is an FCA/FCPA and has Broker-Dealer Registrations in both Canada and the U.S. He is a member of ACG and an associate member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Barry has also spent his career in community service – with the United Way of Calgary, the Calgary Stampede and Calgary Stampede Foundation and the Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund.
