Payal Thakkar

As the EY Americas Industrials and Energy Cybersecurity Leader, Payal is focused on solving complex business problems and navigating the rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape for clients in the manufacturing, mobility, power and utilities, and oil and gas sectors. Her more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity transformation and regulatory compliance across all major geographies around the world, enables Payal to bring a global perspective to problem-solving with a keen eye toward tangible outcomes.

In her role, Payal collaborates with C-suite clients to understand their business goals, assess cyber risks and threats, establish their strategy to implement and improve their cyber defenses as well as develop quantifiable key performance indicators and key risk indicators for executive and board reporting. With a deep understanding of technology transformation and business value chains, her goal is to transform cybersecurity as a foundational enabler for business resiliency and revenue growth.
