David works with clients across sectors as an EY-Parthenon Managing Director at Ernst and Young LLP. He has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, split between roles in private sector consulting and as a diplomat at the US Department of State. He focuses on the nexus of government policies and commercial challenges, and the disruptive opportunities that emerge.

David has helped clients in all segments of the oil and gas value chain, to manage the increasing complexities brought about by energy transition issues, challenging market conditions, shifting investor expectations and demands from resource-holding states and other government entities. Through his role with the Geostrategic Business Group, he has worked with clients beyond oil and gas to help translate geopolitical risks into business strategy.
