The EY IPO Enabler is a web-based tool containing a library of Initial Public Offering (IPO)-readiness questions, observations and recommendations.

The FAAS-led cross-service line client assessment process enables EY engagement teams to conduct interactive, collaborative discussions with clients’ leadership teams to generate insights and identify gaps in real-time. The tool provides insights and observations on accounting and public company compliance policies, disclosure controls, procedures and internal controls. These are based on peer companies’ practices, EY’s experiences and publicly available information. This helps in benchmarking financial reporting, processes, KPIs, etc. based on publicly available information. Further, the tool identifies improvement areas for accurate and efficient preparation and reporting of financial statements within the timelines. This assessment can help companies save time, costs and achieve greater transaction certainty by adopting a structured approach in their IPO preparation.

  • EY STAT

EY Strategic Transaction Accounting Tool (STAT) 3.0 is a web–based, technology-enabled solution to operationalize purchase accounting.

It is built for small and large transactions, as well as simple and complex transactions. The tool facilitates an end–to–end purchase accounting journey from transaction close to eventual push down to underlying legal entities. It streamlines and automates the process for calculating, tracking and reviewing purchase accounting adjustments and subsequent changes thereof. EY STAT 3.0 offers comprehensive reporting with transparent calculations and an audit trail. The tool also addresses stakeholder requirements pertaining to business combination transactions for internal and external reporting to. It is mindful of relevant accounting rules of ASC 805 Business Combinations, ASC 830 Foreign Currency Matters, ASC 740 Income Taxes, etc.; and can be customized to meet clients’ unique requirements.
