Timsie is a Senior Manager for EY Ireland’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS).

Timsie began his career as an academic researcher supporting the development of virtual technology enabled teaching resources for geoscience students across four Irish universities.

Timsie further developed his career in science and engineering as an environmental consultant working with clients across Ireland and the UK to provide environmental remediation solutions, environmental impact assessments and compliance monitoring.

Timsie transitioned into EY’s Business Advisory Services in 2021. Since then, Timsie has been supporting private and listed companies on climate and sustainability business solutions with a focus on ESG regulations including CSRD, EU Taxonomy, ISSB, TCFD, SEC and more. Specialist solutions also include sustainability strategy development, sustainability reporting and assurance, climate scenarios analyses and double materiality assessments.

Timsie earned a joint undergraduate degree from University College Cork and The University of Montana (BSc Geoscience), and a postgraduate degree from University College Cork (MSc Exploration Geology).
