Harper is a Senior Consultant in EY’s Strategy and Transactions team working in Government and Infrastructure.
Harper has supported public and private clients in the energy, transport, telecommunications and sustainability sectors. Her projects range from advising on sustainable transport strategy and programmes for the national roll-out of new energy technologies to completing due diligence for infrastructure projects and M&A transactions. She currently supports financial services for the Government’s €2.7 billion subsidy for the National Broadband Plan, the largest rural infrastructural project in Ireland since rural electrification.
Prior to EY, Harper was a consultant at the United Nations Environment Programme where she worked on energy and the sustainable value chain. She also advised on public investment projects, such as the 15 year, $356m Florida State Expenditure Plan for the economic and ecological recovery from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
She completed a B.A. in Political Science with minors in Environmental Science and Innovation, as well as an undergraduate certificate in Public Affairs.
How Harper is building a better working world
Harper is passionate about understanding the value of sustainable investments as well as staying up-to-date on the latest climate technologies and policies. She brings a multidisciplinary perspective to create bespoke, holistic solutions to our clients complex problems. To enhance her skills, Harper is pursuing a CFA.
Harper is actively engaged in the EY community as part of the EY Choir, Sustainability Network and International Network. Alongside Louisa Burke and Simone Lu, she co-chairs the Women’s Network. Driven by her passion for environmental and social responsibility, she organised several events such as the ‘Sustainable Fashion in Support of Irish Cancer Society’ event which helped to raise almost €5,000 in donations and EY matching funds, as well as EY’s BiketoWork Week and Historic Dublin Cycling Tour.
