Michael Rooney is a Tax Partner at EY Ireland. In his role, he oversees the tax function, and strategises and coordinates projects within his team. His areas of focus include mobility, people agenda and employment-related activities.

Michael is involved in examining a range of issues impacting business performance with the help of EY mobility programmes and plans to enhance employee engagement, development and retention.

Prior to joining EY, Michael worked with another Big Four firm as Head of Global Mobility.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Trinity College Dublin.
