James is the Irish Business Tax Compliance Lead. James’ experience includes advising a range of national and multinational clients across retail, technology and life sciences sectors.
James is also responsible for the adoption of new technology solutions and internal processes improvements in Ireland.
Prior to his current role, James spent 2.5 years in New York where he led the Irish Tax Desk advising multinational groups on Irish tax matters and the implications of tax reform at an Irish, EU and International level.
James trained in tax in the UK before moving to Ireland where he worked in both practice and industry before joining EY in 2014.
James holds a law degree from Lancaster University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Tax Advisors in Ireland and the UK.
