Christabel Cowling

Christabel is the service line leader for EY UK&I Core Business Services (CBS) and a partner within the Assurance service line. 

As CBS Managing Partner, Christabel leads a team of 2,000 people, who work across a wide range of functions, including finance, risk, talent and brand, marketing and communications. 

Christabel joined EY UK&I in 2002 and initially worked in the Strategy and Transactions practice before moving to the Audit practice in 2005. She became Partner in 2006 and has worked with a range of companies, focussing primarily on large businesses in the utilities and retail sectors.

In 2011, Christabel was appointed the Head of Audit for the North of England. In 2014, she became the Chief Operating Officer for Assurance in the UK&I and Head of the Extended Assurance practice.

In 2018, Christabel became Head of Regulatory and Public Policy and joined the EY UK Board.
