Markus has been with EY for more than 16 years and has more than 20 years of tax experience including working for a large Swiss bank.

In July 2017 Markus took over the tax team in Aarau and in spring 2020 the tax team in Basel. He is now covering the entire Northwestern region.

His main focus is on corporate taxation for international groups. This includes tax services in connection with reorganizations, planning, optimizing as well as auditing. 

Markus holds a Lic.iur. (University of Berne) degree and is a Swiss certified tax expert.

Besides his consulting work, Markus is a speaker at events of EXPERTSuisse.
