He leads a team of engineers and scientists to develop breakthrough technologies to address top business challenges by using artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing and quantum computing.
Sherif has over two decades of professional experience. Before his current role, he led the Connected and Cognitive Supply Chain practice at a leading technology company, providing guidance to clients on technology solutions. Sherif also served as a senior executive at a leading Canadian bank, where he oversaw the bank’s procurement transformation program. His extensive knowledge in these areas have established him as a trusted advisor and leader in the field.
Sherif's academic background includes an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a PhD in Computer Science, where he specialized in the study of Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Sherif is an accomplished researcher and has contributed his findings to numerous scientific and peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he shares his knowledge as a part-time lecturer at John Molson School of Business, where he teaches Supply Chain and Business Technology Management.
