For over three decades, Neil has guided clients in tackling significant, inter-jurisdictional restructuring and advisory initiatives. His expertise spans creditor and debtor guidance, CCAA/U.S. ch. 15/insolvency proceedings, operational reviews, viability assessments, valuations and more. In addition to senior leadership roles at EY, Neil has also served as Chief Financial Officer for the Walton Group of Companies, where he provided deal advisory, financial and capital advice across the organization’s international operations.
Neil is a Chartered Professional Accountant; Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional; Licensed Insolvency Trustee; and Chartered Business Valuator. He holds professional memberships with the Insolvency Institute of Canada, as well as the Canadian Association of Restructuring and Insolvency Professionals. Neil is also a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
