How Mike is building a better working world
“Here in the US, we have benefited from the foresight and willingness of earlier generations to develop world-leading infrastructure. Public and private investments, many made following the Great Depression and World War II, helped achieve remarkable growth in competitiveness, mobility, safety, quality of life for many and overall economic expansion.
Yet, as we renew our infrastructure here and help other countries build anew, do we simply aspire to rebuild and recreate? Should new technologies and better, more inclusive understandings of our needs, health, environment and equity shift what we build and how we build it?
My job is to collaborate with committed and talented people in government and the private sector who are helping to realize and reimagine our critical infrastructure.”
