Technology isn’t driving business change — it is the change. As an EY Canada partner, Karen leads our Tax group’s Technology practice. She’s singularly focused on empowering clients in the technology and life sciences industries to seize this pivotal moment, and continue shaping the market for years to come.  

From tax incentives and controversy to cross-border advisory, capital raising, supply chain, mobility and transfer pricing, Karen advises clients on a wide range of tax and financial accounting matters. She’s built a wealth of experience across these industries, with a special focus on enabling high-growth companies to achieve bold goals, and fulfill their ambitions. She provides corporate tax advisory, accounting and compliance services for both public and private companies.

Karen holds a math degree from the University of Waterloo. She is a member of CPA Canada’s Tax Learning and Development Committee, furthering the dialogue around tax education for peers and the next generation. An active member of her community, Karen has served as treasurer and executive member of a number of industry and charitable organizations over the last 20 years.
