Jillian Beaton

Infrastructure enthusiast, finance aficionado, breaking molds for the next generation of leaders shaping the built environment.

Jillian is a Partner in EY’s Strategy & Transactions practice and leads our Alberta-based infrastructure team. She has over a decade of experience working in professional services, including complex feasibility studies, financial modelling, risk analyses and strategic projects. She brings a blend of transit, water, post-secondary and tourism/entertainment experience, including experience closing the Canadian Infrastructure Bank’s first deal in Alberta.

Jillian is a Chartered Professional Accountant. She earned her honours Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario. In 2021, Jill was a top-five finalist recognized in the Emerging Leader category of the national awards ceremony hosted by the Canadian Women’s Infrastructure Network.

Outside the office Jillian is a recreational crossfit athlete and enjoys skiing and hiking in the Rocky Mountains. 

How Jillian is building a better working world

Inspired by the EY ambition of building a better working world, Jillian is at the forefront of creating dialog in her communities. She is helping shape the way we plan, provide and monitor the impact of infrastructure investments. Jillian also volunteers her time with organizations dedicated to building the next generation of diverse and inclusive leaders, both in the infrastructure industry and in boardrooms across Canada.
