Jeremy is an EY Partner and Leader of our Power & Utilities Assurance practice for Canada, based in Toronto.
With more than 20 years’ experience providing assurance services, Jeremy provides audit, transaction and other assurance services to both Canadian and SEC-listed registrants in the power and utilities sector.
With deep knowledge of both US GAAP and IFRS, he has worked on financial reporting matters, internal controls over financial reporting (SOX), capital markets activities issuances and complex accounting transactions, including acquisitions, regulatory accounting, impairment, revenue recognition, and debt and equity transactions.
Jeremy works closely with his clients to deliver hands-on, proactive service and advice focused on driving efficiencies and shaping the future of their businesses.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto.
How you are building a better working world
I am dedicated to giving back to those who make up the fabric of our communities and who need support to overcome challenges. I’m the co-chair of the EY United Way Campaign in Toronto, and I am involved in charitable events in my Mississauga community. I also actively support and fundraise for the development of The Magellan Centre, a long-term care facility that offers culturally sensitive care for the Portuguese-speaking community.
