Moving tax planning to the heart of business strategy can fuel growth in a world that’s changing fast. As an EY Canada Partner who leads our Tax practice specifically for advanced manufacturing clients, Heather enables companies to thrive in an era of rapid change.

Since joining the firm in 1998, Heather’s built significant experience delivering tax planning and compliance services for private and public clients from a host of different industries. That includes manufacturing, agricultural, distribution, construction and technology organizations. She’s developed specialized expertise in international tax services, providing Canadian tax planning advice for clients executing cross-border transactions. Heather has also served as a member of the Canadian Tax Services team in EY’s New York office, where she advised US multinationals on a range of complex engagements.

Heather is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Ontario. She holds a Master’s of accounting degree from the University of Waterloo, and continuously seeks to make an impact both at EY, and beyond. Heather has represented her peers on EY’s inclusiveness steering committee, which sets our diversity and inclusion agenda nationally. She’s a member of the board of directors for McCormick Care Group, an organization with oversight for a long-term care and dementia outreach home in London. Heather also serves as a director on the board of the London Chamber of Commerce.
