Anil leads EY Canada’s AI Governance and Model Data Management practices. He advises clients on the responsible use of AI and associated data by developing governance solutions appropriate to the size and complexity of the organization.
Backed by over 18 years of experience across the technology, banking and consulting industries, Anil and his team focus on instituting sound governance practices to use AI and data in a safe, controlled and regulatory compliant manner.
Before joining EY, Anil was the Executive Director in the Model Risk Governance and Review (MRGR) group at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Anil also worked as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft for several years and later worked as a Desk Strategist for the Base Metals trading desk at Deutsche Bank.
Anil holds a Master of Financial Engineering from UCLA Anderson School of Management, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Technology from Punjab Engineering College in Chandigarh.
