Subsidy Call for Support of Electromobility
Grant call from the National Recovery and Resilience Facility for Electric vehicles including charging infrastructure for entrepreneurs.
On Monday, March 18, the call for support of electromobility, including charging infrastructure for entrepreneurs, was launched. Businesses of all sizes across the Czech Republic can apply. The call will be open until September 30, 2025, or until the allocation is exhausted. It is anticipated that the allocation will be exhausted earlier.
Support can only be drawn in combination with a guaranteed loan from the National Development Bank (NRB). In addition, a financial contribution can also be obtained. The grant application is fairly straightforward, especially if you are already registered with the NRB.
What the grant can be used for
Support for electromobility including charging infrastructure for businesses:
- Acquisition of zero-emission vehicles (battery and hydrogen electric vehicles)
- Non-public charging infrastructure
Who can apply
- Eligible applicants are businesses of all sizes, with the exception of those owned by local authorities.
Amount of aid
- The support is provided in the form of a portfolio bank guarantee for a commercial loan from a leasing company/commercial bank combined with a financial contribution.
- The guarantee may be granted up to 70 % of the principal amount of the guaranteed loan.
- The amount of the guaranteed loan for a vehicle can be from CZK 300 thousand to 2.5 million. The financial contribution from CZK 200 thousand to 300 thousand, depending on the type of vehicle.
- The amount of the guaranteed loan for a charging station can be from CZK 100 thousand to 400 thousand. The financial contribution from CZK 50 thousand to 150 thousand, depending on the type of charging station.
Terms and conditions of the call
- The vehicle to be purchased must be new (delivered within 6 months of the date of first entry into service and have less than 6 000 km on the clock).
- A charging station without an emission-free vehicle cannot be purchased under the call.
- The project must not have been started (vehicle/charging station ordered) before 1 February 2022 and completed before the date of submission of the aid application.
- The financial contribution may not exceed the amount of the guaranteed loan.
- A fleet of vehicles and charging stations may be purchased in one project up to the de minimis limit (1 loan = 1 project).
- The project may not be aimed at activities in the following sectors: the manufacture of arms and ammunition, the operation of gambling, casino and betting shops and the operation of organisations bringing together persons to promote common interests.
- The applicant must have registered beneficial owners in the register of beneficial owners.
- The applicant must have closed at least the last two financial years and must not be in liquidation or bankruptcy or in arrears to its employees or to selected institutions.
Call deadline
- Applications are likely to be accepted from January to 30 September 2025, or until the allocation is fulfilled.
