Alistair is the EY UK Life and Pensions Leader and is responsible for several of the largest insurance accounts. He also leads the client and markets function for the EY Financial Services practice in Scotland.

Alistair has over 19 years’ experience in the financial services sector, combining 10 years of product and commercial leadership roles in industry, with nine years across EY business consulting and markets functions. He uses this experience to build deep client relationships, taking the time to understand clients’ most complex challenges and addressing them by bringing together the leading-class EY solutions.

Alistair has a Masters degree in Business Studies from The University of Glasgow.

How Alistair is building a better working world

The UK is facing a significant protection and pensions savings gap. I am focused on working with clients across the life and retirement sector, as they seek to transform to address this shortfall in order to help UK customers achieve long-term financial resilience and security. Whether it be making longer term savings more accessible, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of client operations, or driving strategies to achieve net zero, I see my role as that of a strategic advisor, working with others to help build a building working world.
