Lara heads EY’s New Zealand IFRS Professional Practice team. She works with clients to support them to navigate existing accounting standards as well as understanding the impacts of accounting change. Lara’s areas of focus include accounting for income taxes, share-based payment arrangements and financial instruments. She has also worked extensively in the public sector and with not-for-profits in the adoption and application of PBE Standards (and IPSAS). Lara is a member of the XRB’s Technical Reference Group. In her previous role at EY, Lara was seconded to the IASB in London.
