Kelly is a Partner in the Law team at EY and is qualified to practice law in Australia and England and Wales.
With over 15 years’ experience that spans the energy industry and includes oil and gas (upstream, midstream and downstream), power (conventional (including nuclear) and renewable), energy storage and new fuels (including hydrogen) and related infrastructure delivery in various regions globally.
Kelly has an extensive background in multi-disciplinary transactional and advisory work including significant expertise across markets on PPAs, M&A, project financing, project delivery (EPC, O&M, PPAs, Grid, Asset Management etc) and energy regulation. Outside of the conventional development, acquisition and financing experience, Kelly’s practice also focusses on new technologies and innovative project and transaction implementation in the energy transition. With Kelly’s detailed knowledge and experience across the energy sector, Kelly’s practice extends to advising traditional energy clients and non-traditional / non-energy clients on transformational projects in the sector. This includes a broad remit of matters, from those relating to new fuels such as hydrogen across the value chain, through to, distributed energy solutions, VPPs and customers looking at sustainability strategies and ESG focused standards for their business and many more.
