In December 2022, the Japanese Government issued its tax reform proposals for 2023. If confirmed in the Diet in Spring 2023, these measures would generally take effect as of 1 April 2023. The proposals cover the entire taxation spectrum.
We at EY Japan Tax would like to provide our Japan inbound clients with an overview of these measures so you can assess the relevance for your businesses. We will also provide other recent updates on the Japanese tax environment. For this, we are pleased to invite you to join our EY 2023 Japan tax reform webcast.
We plan to cover the following:
- Japan corporate tax updates (incentives)
- Qualified invoicing system for Japan consumption tax and electronic retention
- International tax updates (Japan’s implementation of Pillar 2 of the OECD’s BEPS 2.0 initiative)
- Immigration update
- Individual taxation
- Transfer pricing (changes to financial TP rules)
- Tax controversy update
The webcast will be held in English. We aim to leave time for a Q&A discussion at the end of the seminar.
We look forward to your attendance at this webcast.
