Yoshitake Masuda joined EY Law Co. in 2021 as an Associate Partner. He has over 20 years of experience as a lawyer. Before joining EY Law Co., he worked in foreign and domestic law firms. Furthermore, he has experience as an in-house lawyer at a general trading company and as an auditor for a public company.
Yoshitake provides a wide range of legal services focusing on legal support for transactions between international and domestic firms, including M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. He also provides legal support on corporate governance and compliance matters, including compliance with regulations and guidelines within the life sciences sector and the technology sector.
Yoshitake has graduated from Waseda University (School of Law), Tokyo University of Science (Master of Intellectual Property), University of Michigan (USA/LL.M.), Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium/LL.M.), and McGill University (MBA). He has also completed the Tokyo Women’s Medical University Bio-Medical Curriculum.
