Your apprenticeship at EY

Are you interested in becoming an apprentice in an international company? Are you ready to take on new challenges and develop professionally and personally? At EY, you can complete an apprenticeship as an EFZ D&A, with your pratical trainers always being by your side. In each department you work in, specialists will teach you everything you need to know and answer all your questions.

The opportunity to accompany young talents during their apprenticeship is something I truly cherish, as it allows for reciprocal learning and development.

We bear part of the costs for your language stays in France and England (two weeks respectively).

  • Preparation week

EY contributes to the costs of the preparatory week for the qualification procedure.
  • Language diploma

EY contributes to the examination costs for a language diploma (up to CHF 200).

  • Exchange semester national

KV immersive programme: On the condition that you achieve the required grades, EY contributes 50 percent of the costs for a six-month KV immersive stay in the French-speaking part of Switzerland (headquarters in Lausanne, school in Nyon).

  • International exchange year

On the condition that you achieve the required grades, EY contributes 50 percent of the costs for an exchange year abroad after the first year of your apprenticeship.

Apprenticeship: learning

Whom are we looking for?

We expect you to have good grades in school and enjoy tackling digital tasks. You should be interested in the business world, curious, open-minded and have a hunger to learn.

You enjoy taking initiative, you have team spirit, creativity and good communication skills. Your well-groomed appearance and confidence bring out the best in you.

EY is not looking for employees who know it all, but for colleagues who are motivated, want to learn and communicate openly. The required knowledge can be gained over time.

Be yourself and let your authentic self convince us. We look forward to meeting you.

The application process

So that you know what to expect, we will show you how a typical application process at EY works:

  • Your application

You want to start your career and have discovered an apprentice position that may interest you? Make sure that your online application is convincing and complete. Submit online and we look forward to receiving it.
  • Review of your application

We will review your application, placing priority on your potential and your talent. If it’s a match and we would like to get to know you, we will call you to arrange for an interview appointment.

  • Meeting you

You’ll be invited to either to come to our office, so that you get to know our business and HR experts in a personal meeting, or meet up virtually with us. This is your chance to ask all questions that are important for your career. A successful interview is usually followed by a trial day, which will allow us to get to know each other a little better.

  • Offer and apprenticeship contract

If, after the trial day, we know that the chemistry is right, you will receive an apprenticeship contract from us. Now all you have to do is sign it.
