Rob is a partner in the EY Transactions Law team. He is a highly experienced M&A and commercial lawyer, advising on a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, reorganisations and strategic business agreements.
Rob has experience in both industry and private practice. He previously worked for large national law firms and in-house for a Fortune 500 blue-chip, based in the UK, Singapore and North America.
Rob holds a Law degree from the University of Sheffield and a Master’s degree in Public International Law from the University of London.
How Rob is building a better working world
My work often involves helping clients to assess legal and commercial risk. I advise them on the negotiation and documentation of the commercial and legal terms of transformational projects and transactions that will help them grow their businesses more sustainably and have a positive impact on wider society. Applying my skill and experience to help clients find solutions to execute and deliver those projects is hugely fulfilling.
I’m also passionate about using my experience to coach others, both within my team and beyond. This enables individuals to develop both personally and professionally to meet their career goals. Working with the EY Foundation’s mentoring programme, I provide early-stage career advice to young people from low-income backgrounds.
