Parker Review 2023: Improving the ethnic diversity of UK businesses

In this webcast, we examine the latest findings and insights from the Parker Review 2023 Report. The annual report focusses on improving the ethnic diversity of UK businesses.

The Parker Review 2022 Report, issued in March 2023, found that 96 FTSE 100 companies met the target to have at least one minority ethnic director on their boards, up from 89 in the previous year. Additional targets were also set in 2023 to include 50 of the UK’s largest private companies to appoint at least one minority ethnic director on its main board by December 2027.

As we report on findings for 2023, we discuss what progress has been made across UK businesses in meeting the voluntary targets set out by the Parker Review.

Topics discussed include:

  • Key findings from this year’s Parker Review Report.
  • Progress update on targets for FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies.
  • Update on targets that were set for the first-time last year, for the top 50 large private companies.
  • Plans for the future to improve the opportunities for ethnic minorities in UK businesses.
