The Company entered Administration on 7 October 2008 and AR Bloom, PJ Brazzill, TM Burton and ME Mills were appointed to act as Joint Administrators (the "Administrators"). The appointment was made by the Court of Session in Scotland under the provisions of paragraph 13 of Schedule B1 to the Insolvency Act 1986. Under the terms of the appointment, any act required or authorised to be done by the Administrators can be done by any of them.

On 11 September 2013, TM Burton was replaced as Joint Administrator of the Company by CP Dempster of Ernst & Young LLP, 10 George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 2DZ by a Court Order.

The Insolvency Practitioners Association in the UK authorises Patrick Joseph Brazzill to act as an Insolvency Practitioner under section 390(2)(a) of the Insolvency Act 1986 and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland in the UK authorises Colin Peter Dempster to act as an Insolvency Practitioner under section 390(2)(a) of the Insolvency Act 1986. The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales authorises Alan Robert Bloom and Margaret Elizabeth Mills to act as an Insolvency Practitioner under section 390(2)(a) of the Insolvency Act 1986. As Insolvency Practitioners, they are bound by the Insolvency Code of Ethics in carrying out all professional work relating to the appointment.
The affairs, business and property of the Company are being managed by the Joint Administrators who act as agents of the Company only and without personal liability. 
The Joint Administrators may act as data controllers of personal data as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, depending upon the specific processing activities undertaken. Ernst & Young LLP and/or the Companies may act as a data processor on the instructions of the Joint Administrators.
